Customizing storefront

Newbie, just set up a starter store and would like to customize the storefront, thumbnail, etc. I can't find anything here or in my settings to do this. I see stores, even small one with few listings that are customized. Where or how is this done? Thanks

Greg, Thanks for the reply but there are no customize settings in there for me. Just options to change store name, tax, postage, questions, etc.

Do you not see (when you scroll down) on the STORE page this area where you can add logo, store name, description,, etc? Oh, and I predict you will hear from Scott soon enough. It's a good thing, don't worry.

That is probably it. A starter store is very basic and I don't think it includes even a directory listing for the store since I can't search for and find your store in the store listings.

I knew there was no directory listing but wow, can't add a custom storefront thumbnail photo, pretty basic stuff to exclude. Even the forum identity thumbnail can be easily customized.
First disappointment and haven't even listed anything yet. It's all ok (zen breathing)

Greg, Are there emojis hidden somewhere in here? Also, got my first listing up. Took three tries before I discovered that the Auto-Generate Private IDs feature does not work, evidently for Starter stores. It hosed it up each time without giving me any indication when I tried to save the listing as a draft or post it. Once I left that feature turned off it all worked. The listing looks good

They are hidden. Hit Shift-and the Semi-Colon at the same time (Odd combo). A few will pop up that will work in this forum. I wish I could help more with the Starter store but just have never been there. Post a link to the listing if you want. I would like to see it.
