Isle of Man, Scott Nr 1824-1829 (2016)

Isle of Man released this set which reproduces art by Roger Dean which was used on record album covers by Yes and Uriah Heep (Sea of Light). The 77p is a painting for an as-yet unreleased Yes album, Blind Owl.
The 45p value is an original work, Meeting Place, inspired by Isle of Man landscapes, and created for the stamp set.

Have you happened to look at ebay lately? Beyond the war profiteering over this set of stamps, there are a lot of listings for the Ukraine "sticker". It appears they scanned the sheet and are selling stickers.

I have been wondering how well the new Amos Media philatelist raping is going for them. Honestly, I'm at the point I hope they fail and go broke doing it.

Nice one Ted. I think this whole series is mostly overlooked, but these are among my favorites. That has brilliant centering as well. Too bad about the gum soak in the upper left corner.

Sorry, Scott, but you are dead wrong on this one. What you are seeing is simply a product of the light reflecting off the thinner paper at the edge of the perf.
