I was looking at this on the APS site the other day and I had the impression that you had to be selling an item through the APS portal to get the badge. I don't recall how they worded it but that's how it looked to me.
Not a clue what APS or HipStamp means by "Badging". I know what it means in Blazing Saddles. I kind of hoped that it would be a way for customers to search HS stores in general. Like search all HS stores that are APS Dealer Members or all that are IPDA members, etc.
I found this from the APS site on the APS/Hip transition FAQs "If I am selling on HipStamp independent from StampStore, will my APS Badge still be visible to potential customers on my HipStamp-only account?
Yes, badges will be available to APS sellers who are operating independently of StampStore. The badging system is being developed and won’t be available right away at the start of the partnership. Stay tuned for more information on badging."
Sooo, I guess if you are an "APS Seller" you will be eligible for a badge once they get the kinks worked out,. even if you are not selling through the APS portal. Don't know if this will apply to APS members selling independently on Hip but we shall see.
