Anyone recognize the writing on this cover that I dug out of a box lot? I'm thinking Nepalese but am unsure. It appears to be a stampless cover (I see no indication of a stamp having been removed. Also, any info on the cool markings found verso would be helpful.149a

    It's South East Asian in origin. It might be Thai or Singhalese (Ceylon), as script they look pretty similar.
    Let me run it by a couple of my friends out here and see if any of them recognize/speak it.

    Interesting, at the bottom of the front cover, it does resemble Hindi numbers. But not 100%, but that could just be someone's handwriting style... Still looking at this.

    Good Morning George, You made a good call. The Cover is from Nepal. These are most often found on a very thin paper envelope, Domestic Use with Officials franking on the verso. I think they are nice items.nap-1
