Feedback - Time Limit Within It Must Be Left

Once an item has been sold and paid for, is there a time limit for leaving feedback for that item? I am asking because I just received feedback for two items that I sold back in December.

    It would be nice, if every time someone goes on Hip, they would get a "banner" saying they have feedbacks "open". Because I keep a record of every shipment I make, till I receive a feedback, then I can get rid of the copy of the invoice. I also got very old feedbacks, one was from last July. To make things worse, the feedback shows the date of when it was posted not the date of the sale... At least we have a feedback! :D
