    No additions to the life list. We had hoped to see the whooping cranes that Louisiana is introducing but struck out on that. We did get 2 views of an American Bittern that were fantastic. We always enjoy Lake Martin near Lafayette but did not see anything new - but we enjoyed seeing birds that will never make it to Ontario.

    Hi Dennis, just had my brother visit and we did some very pleasant birdwatching up here in Northern Philippines. he said he saw 45 new species. sorry cannot name them all but I did do a decent photographers role and produced a nice ( in my view ) memory book for him. sorry off philatelic topic :-)
